Equatorial Guinea has signed an agreement with US energy major Chevron to develop the Aseng Gas project.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana will hold the first auction for Small Scale LNG (SSLNG) service at its FSRU Toscana on October 29, when twelve slots of 7,500 liquid cubic meters will be made available to operators. The slots will be distributed monthly from November 2025 to November 2026.

US LNG outperforms coal in economic terms and carbon intensity when evaluated over its full lifecycle for power generation. Two-thirds of US LNG originates from Haynesville and Northeast basins, where drier gas production with less associated liquids create more favourable emission profiles, Wood Mackenzie finds.
