ADNOC Logistics & Services has placed an order for four LNG carriers at China’s Jiangnan Shipyard in a deal valued at around US$900 million. Each of the newbuild vessels will have a capacity of 175 000 cubic meters and is scheduled for delivery in 2029.
GTT has received an order from China Chengda Engineering Co. to design three very large onshore LNG storage tanks for PipeChina’s Yuedong LNG terminal in Jieyang, Guangdong province.
ADNOC is preparing to sign orders for a new batch of LNG carriers at Chinese shipyards in the coming days, the head of ADNOC Logistic & Services, Abdulkareem Al Masabi said. Four to six 175,000-cubic-meter LNG carriers will be ordered to accelerate the company’s entry into the global gas trading market. The latest move follows an order for six LNGC’s worth more than $1.2 billion from China's Jiangnan Shipyard, with the first vessel delivered in April.

Cosco Shipping is expanding its exposure on LNG-capable tonnage with an order for 87 new vessels from several yards affiliated with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). The order, valued at more than RMB 50 billion (about US$7 billion), covers container ships, bulk carriers, tankers and car carriers scheduled to be delivered through to 2030.
Singapore-based BW LNG has placed an order for two new LNG carriers with South Korea’s Hyundai Samho shipyard. Each carrier will have a capacity of 174,000 cubic meters, with delivery targeted for 2028.
Seatrium has reported a net order book of S$16.6 billion for the third quarter 2025, with 24 projects scheduled for delivery through 2031. The upgrade of FLNG Hilli Episeyo was completed during the quarter.
