Spain has received its first US liquefied natural gas delivery on board the 138 000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Sestao Knutsen” and delivered to the Reganosa import terminal at the northwest port of Ferrol.

Australian energy company Santos, operator of the Gladstone LNG plant in Queensland and with stakes in two other production facilities in Darwin and Papua New Guinea, said first-half sales revenue was down 6 percent and the average LNG price received was just under $5.20 per million British thermal units.

Gaztransport and Technigaz (GTT), the French owner of liquefied natural gas maritime and other storage technologies, said first-half profit rose as it broadened its offerings in the growing LNG market.

AEG Power Solutions, a supplier of industrial electricity systems, was awarded a contract to supply electrical equipment that will insure uninterrupted power for the Yamal LNG project in Arctic Russia.
