French energy and liquefied natural gas engineering company Technip said it was awarded a master services agreement for the US Monkey Island LNG export project in Louisiana.

Jovo Group, the Chinese energy distribution company and a liquefied natural gas import terminal owner in the southeast Guangdong province, has signed a supply agreement with the Monkey Island LNG export project in Louisiana being developed by a former US telecoms operator.

Californian project developer SCT&E LNG has tripled volumes in its Free Trade Application (FTA) to the Department of Energy from 4 to 12 mtpa of LNG to be exported from Monkey Island, Louisiana.
