UK-based engineering group Wood, has been awarded the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for the development of Singapore’s second LNG terminal by Singapore LNG Corp (SLNG). According to the Singapore Economic Development Board, more than 95% of electricity in Singapore is generated from natural gas. 

Indian state-owned, GAIL (India) is seeking long-term LNG import deals amounting to 5.5 mill tonnes per year. This will raise GAIL’s capacity to 21 mill tonnes per year by 2030, finance chief, Rakesh Kumar Jain said on Wednesday.

London-listed, Diversified Energies is to supply natural gas to an undisclosed US Gulf LNG developer. The deal, which will start in November, will see Diversified supply around 40 bill cu ft of natural gas for three years.
