US pipeline operator, Energy Transfer has signed a preliminary contract with a consortium to build its planned Lake Charles LNG plant.
Involving engineering companies, Technip Energies and KBR, any firm contract will be subject to a final investment decision (FID) taken for the project, Energy Transfer said in a filing to the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) last week.
