Malaysian energy company Petronas said the world’s first floating liquefied natural gas production plant has received its first feed-gas from the Kanowit field it is deployed over in an area 180 kilometres offshore Sarawak and the commissioning process is well underway as the project advances towards start-up.

Petronet LNG, the Indian regasification terminal operator and importer, posted a drop in quarterly revenues to less than $1 billion, though its latest earnings still managed to boost its shares on the prospects of more imports and the company's involvement in a project for more LNG use in the country’s mass transportation system.
