Aug 29 (LNGJ) – The UK’s first September LNG shipment is on its way from the Arabian Gulf. The 261,990 cubic metres capacity Q-Max carrier “Shagra” is scheduled to discharge a cargo on September 2 at the UK South Hook terminal in Milford Haven, according to shipping data. The cargo was lifted on August 14 from Qatar’s liquefaction plant loading terminal at Ras Laffan.
The shipment was heading for the UK as the National Balancing Point gas market price was last at $75.15 per million British thermal units while the benchmark European Union price, the Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF), was quoted at $91.25 per MMBtu.
