On 6th August, the US DC Circuit Court effectively cancelled an approval of three methane gas projects in South Texas by the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). This is the first time that a court has vacated FERC approval of an LNG terminal, US environmental lobby Sierra Club said.
