South African state-owned Transnet subsidiary, Transnet Pipelines (TPL), has invited expressions of interest (EoI) to switch the Lilly Gas pipeline from transporting methane-rich gas (MRG) to regasified LNG.

This project aligns with Transnet’s commitment to boost South Africa’s gas infrastructure and support growing demand for natural gas in the country, it said.
