Industry coalition SEA-LNG has claimed that significant progress is being made to eradicate methane slip as LNG uptake accelerates.  With continued collaborative efforts with stakeholders, methane slip will be eliminated for all engine technologies within the decade, the coalition said.

India’s largest natural gas entity, state-owned GAIL (India), reported revenue from operations of Rs33,692 crore in the first quarter of its 2025 fiscal year, compared to Rs32,227 crore in FY1Q24.  Profit after tax (PAT) was Rs2,724 crore, as against Rs1,412 crore in the same quarter of the last fiscal year.
