Turkey said it would like to purchase regular LNG supplies from Qatar after 2010 as it moves to secure more long-term supplies for its two import terminals.

Osaka Gas, the supplier serving almost 7 million customers in the Kansai region of Japan, has completed a deal to buy 10 percent of the Freeport LNG import terminal project on the Gulf coast of Texas.
