Pakistan arranges Hormuz transit with Iran
Sept 21 – Pakistan has arranged safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, following negotiations with Iran, allowing an LNG carrier loaded at Qatar’s Ras Laffan terminal to transit the strait over the weekend. According to ship-tracking data, the LNGC is expected to arrive in Pakistan by Tuesday.

Ksi Lisims signs Santos LNG deal
Developers of the 12 mtpa Ksi Lisims LNG export terminal in British Columbia have signed a Heads of Agreement with Australia’s Santos for the supply of 1 mtpa for up to 20 years, to be delivered on a free-on-board (FOB) basis. The deal brings Ksi Lisims’ contracted volumes to 6 mtpa, alongside agreements with Shell, TotalEnergies and Uniper – paving the way for Ksi Lisims LNG to commercialization and take a final investment decision later this year.
