June 17 (LNGJ) - PetroChina has scaled back its plans for a liquefied natural gas import terminal to be located near the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen. The facility will now be smaller, according to a revised environmental assessment report from the authorities. PetroChina now plans to build four 200,000 cubic metres capacity LNG storage tanks, two of which will be built in the first phase, instead of the previously proposed six storage tanks.
