June 17 (LNGJ) - Royal Dutch Shell has received US regulatory approve for its take over of LNG portfolio player BG Group of the UK. The companies have received anti-trust regulatory clearance from the US Federal Trade Commission for their cash and share deal. "The FTC clearance is the first regulatory approval received for the proposed combination, announced on 8 April 2015," the companies said. The proposed transaction requires review and approval by other relevant anti-trust and regulatory authorities around the world and may take until 2016 to be completed.
