June 17 (LNG) - There have been two LNG shipments so far in June from the Peru LNG export plant at Pampa Melchorita. The Bahamas-flagged 154,800 cubic metres capacity vessel "Asia Excellence", one of six LNG carriers delivered over the past year or so to Chevron Shipping Co. for eventual Asia-Pacific service from Australia, is unloading a cargo at the Manzanillo import terminal on the Pacific coast of Mexico, priced on the US Henry Hub natural gas benchmark. The second shipment from Peru is destined for Spain on the 173,400 cubic metres capacity "Valencia Knutsen", with the cargo priced on the UK National Balancing Point European benchmark, according to the Peruvian state energy company PeruPetro.
