Aug 29 (LNGJ) - TechnipFMC, the LNG and energy engineering company, was awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract from Husky Energy for the West White Rose Project offshore Eastern Canada. One feature of this venture is that the Northern Drill Centre (NDC) is used as an injection site for gas that is being stored for future use. The White Rose field and satellite extensions are located in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin, 350 kilometres east of Newfoundland and Labrador in approximately 120 metres of water. The TechnipFMC contract covers the supply and installation of subsea equipment including tie-in manifolds, flexible flowlines, and control umbilicals, which will connect the West White Rose Platform to the existing “SeaRose” floating production storage and offloading vessel.
