April 13 (LNGJ) - The Indian Ministry of Petroleum has set the natural gas price ceiling from now until September 30, 2016, at $6.61 per million British thermal units on a gross calorific value basis for all marketing, including gas produced from discoveries in deep-water areas. India was the fourth-largest Asian LNG importer in 2015, receiving 14.60 million tonnes of shipments.
