April 13 (LNGJ) – Backed by signed agreements for much of its tolling capacity, Calgary, Canada-based Veresen said it had filed with the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for a rehearing of the permitting process for the Jordan Cove LNG export project in Coos Bay in the northwest US state of Oregon. "Jordan Cove LNG and Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline will bring significant and lasting benefits to Coos County,” said Don Althoff, President and CEO of Veresen. “We continue to see an outpouring of support from project proponents at each of the local, state and national levels. I thank our supporters for their continued confidence in the projects,” Althoff said.
