April 14 (LNGJ) - Santos Chairman Peter Coates said the Australian and Papua New Guinea LNG stakeholder would appoint Peter Hearl and Guy Cowan to the board as independent directors shortly after the 2016 annual general meeting. Coates said Cowan has over 30 years’ experience in international commercial and finance roles, including 25 years with Royal Dutch Shell. Hearl is currently a director of Telstra Corp.
