Japan finance in FLNG zone

Feb 23 (LNBGJ) - Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corp., the state-owned equity finance agency for the country's energy companies, said it was providing Inpex Corp. and JX Nippon Oil & Gas with 22.6 billion yen ($190 million) for Block R offshore Sabah, one of two Malaysian states on the island of Borneo and near where a Floating LNG project is being developed. Australian energy company Santos and Malaysia's Petronas are also shareholders in the licence area.
