Feb 23 (LNGJ) - Freeport-McMoRan Inc., the US exploration and production company, has carried out additional production testing on its Highlander natural gas discovery, located onshore in South Louisiana near several LNG export plants. The production test indicated a flow rate of around 75 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Highlander discovery well was drilled to a total depth of 29,400 feet. Phoenix, Arizona-based Freeport-McMoRan stated: "We look forward to immediately establishing commercial production from this important discovery."
