Jan 23 (LNGJ) - A company called American LNG Marketing has filed an application with the US Department of Energy for permits to export up to 60,000 tonnes per annum of LNG over 20 years from a small-scale liquefaction facility under construction in Medley, Florida. The company told the DoE it planned  to export the LNG in ISO containers to Central American  and Caribbean nations. An American LNG holding company has acquired a site to build the plant from Florida East Coast Industries, the DoE was told. The plant will produce about 100,000 gallons of LNG per day from 8.26 million cubic feet per day of feed-gas.
