July 30 (LNGJ) - The only South American LNG export plant at Pampa Melchorita on the Pacific coast of Peru has exported three LNG cargoes so far during July. The 173,400 cubic metres capacity "Barcelona Knutsen" was delivering a cargo to Spain at the UK Balancing Point natural gas price, according to Peruvian state energy company PeruPetro. Two other cargoes have already been delivered to the Mazanillo import terminal in Mexico by the 173,600 cubic metres capacity "Castillo de Santisteban" and the 134,425 cubic metres capacity and Singapore-flagged vessel, the "Galea".
