Discovery LNG permit move

July 29 (LNGJ) - Discovery LNG a Canadian project owned by Quicksilver Resources, an oil and gas exploration company from Fort Worth, Texas with a Canadian subsidiary in Calgary, Alberta, has filed an application with the Canadian National Energy Board to export up to 20 million tonnes per annum of LNG from a plant located near Campbell River in British Columbia. The licence would permit Discovery LNG to export LNG for a period of 25 years starting as early as 2021.
