Jan 17 - Japan's 10 electric power companies, from Hokkaido Electrtic Power Co. in the north to Kyushu Electric Power Co. in the south, utilized a record 4.9 million tonnes of LNG last month, an increase of more than 32 percent compared with the same month last year, the Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan said.
