Dec  7 - Indian Energy Minister Shri S. Jaipal Reddy and Sergei Shmatko, his Russian counterpart, met at the World Petroleum Conference in Doha, Qatar. Reddy was accompanied by executives from Indian energy companies ONGC Videsh and Petronet LNG, the Indian Energy Ministry said. ONGC is in "close talks" with Russian natural gas company Gazprom about joint participation in LNG projects, while Petronet would like to have access to more Russian LNG, the Indian statement added, without giving more details.
