Hyundai Heavy Industries has won two LNGC orders.
They were worth just over $250 mill each and were thought to have been placed by BW Gas.
Other orders said to be in the pipeline include three, option three LNGCs for Nigerian interests at Hudong-Zhonghua, as part of the countries fleet replacement programme.
Elsewhere, five shipowners - BW LNG, Knutsen OAS, Maran Gas, NYK, and Seapeak - have been shortlisted by Norway’s Equinor to operate up to four new LNGCs, which will be built by Hanwha Ocean in South Korea.
