In what could prove to be a record, around 34 LNGCs sailed from US export terminals between 4th and 10th September.
Eight tankers left Sabine Pass, six from Plaquemines, five each from Corpus Christi and Freeport, four from Cameron, three from Calcasieu Pass, two from Cove Point and one from Elba Island.
They had a combined LNG carrying capacity of 129 bill cu ft, according to shipping data provided by Bloomberg Finance to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
