Twenty-nine LNGCs sailed from US export terminals between 13th and 19th February.

Eleven left Sabine Pass, five from Corpus Christi, four each from Cameron and Freeport, two each from Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines, and one from Cove Point.

They had a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 110 bill cu ft, according to shipping data provided by Bloomberg Finance, to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

In addition, this week, the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) gave Venture Global the green light to raise Plaquemines LNG’s processing and export capacity.

As a result, Venture Global will be allowed to increase the plant’s capacity to 27.2 mill tonnes per year, from the 24 mill tonnes previously planned.
