NOVATEK reports increased profit

Russia's largest LNG developer NOVATEK’s 2024 net profit increased by 6.5% to RR493.5 bill ($5.18 bill).

Last year’s revenue also rose to RR1.55 trill from RR1.37 trill in 2023.

Normalised EBITDA, including NOVATEK’s share in joint ventures, amounted to RR1,008 bill, representing an increase of 13.2%, compared to 2023. 

Normalised profit attributable to shareholders, excluding the effect of foreign exchange gains/losses, totalled RR553.4 bill in 2024, which was 4.6% higher than recorded in the previous year.

Net cash provided by operating activities amounted to RR357.1 bill in 2024, a decrease of 17.6%, compared to 2023. Cash used for capital expenditures amounted to RR193 bill, some 13.8% lower than 2023’s capex.
