Feb 17 (LNGJ) - Law firm King & Spalding said its London office was providing legal advice to Ghana National Petroleum Corp. in West Africa on its $550 million liquefied natural gas import project, the first to be implemented in sub-Saharan Africa. Accords have already been signed for the construction and operation of the LNG storage, regasification and delivery facilities at the port of Tema. "King & Spalding is providing legal advice to GNPC on all aspects of the project. The team is led by London office managing partner Garry Pegg," the firm said. Other members of the team include partner Hywel Jones, senior associate Susanna Beard and associate Kelly Nash, it added.
