Jan 1 (LNGJ) - The 176,300 cubic metres capacity carrier “Castillo de Caldelas” is scheduled to deliver a US cargo on January 8 to the UK South Hook LNG import terminal at the port of Milford Haven, according to shipping data,
The shipment was arriving as the UK National Balancing Point price was last at the equivalent of $25.40 per million British thermal units, which is well down on the year-ago price on December 31, 2021, of almost $30 per MMBtu. The US cargo was lifted on December 22 from the Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana, owned and operated by Cheniere Energy.
