Qatar cargo for UK

April 9 (LNG) - The UK is scheduled to receive a cargo this week from Qatar as LNG prices remain firm in the Atlantic Basin. The UK wholesale natural gas price on the National Balancing Point market was last at the equivalent of $8.735 per million British thermal units.

   The “Tangguh Palung” with 154,800 cubic metres capacity is scheduled to discharge a cargo on April 13 at the UK South Hook import terminal at the Port of Milford Haven, according to shipping data. The shipment was lifted on March 15 from QatarEnergy’s Ras Laffan export plant in the Arabian Gulf.

Jan 1 (LNGJ) - The 176,300 cubic metres capacity carrier “Castillo de Caldelas” is scheduled to deliver a US cargo on January 8 to the UK South Hook LNG import terminal at the port of Milford Haven, according to shipping data,

   The shipment was arriving as the UK National Balancing Point price was last at the equivalent of $25.40 per million British thermal units, which is well down on the year-ago price on December 31, 2021, of almost $30 per MMBtu. The US cargo was lifted on December 22 from the Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana, owned and operated by Cheniere Energy.

LNG Cargo for UK

Oct 24 (LNGJ) - The 174,000 cubic metres capacity Greek-flagged vessel “Maran Gas Ithaca” is scheduled to discharge a cargo on October 29 at the UK South Hook import terminal at the port of Milford Haven, according to shipping data.

  The cargo was lifted from the Corpus Christi plant in Texas on September 27. The shipment was headed for the UK as the National Balancing Point wholesale gas price dropped to the equivalent of $23.10 per million British thermal units amid mild weather compared with $30.10 per MMBtu a year ago when there were already serious concerns about gas shortages in Europe.

UK gas at 9-month low

May 24 (LNGJ) - Two LNG carriers are heading for the UK at the end of May as the National Balancing Point natural gas price dropped to a nine-month low at the equivalent of $17.00 per million British thermal units. The NBP had previously been just above that level on August 30, 2021.

   The 135,100 cubic metres capacity vessel “Bilbao Knutsen” is scheduled to discharge a cargo on May 30 at the UK Dragon terminal in the port of Milford Haven, according to shipping data. The shipment was lifted on April 20 from the Pampa Melchorita plant on the Pacific Coast of Peru. The 211,885 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Kharsaah” is scheduled to deliver a shipment on May 31 to the South Hook terminal in Milford Haven. That cargo was lifted on May 9 from Qatar’s Ras Laffan export plant in the Arabian Gulf.

The cargo was lifted on March 20 from the Pampa Melchorita liquefaction and export plant on the Pacific coast of Peru.

The ship had previously called at Cheniere Energy's Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana on January 30.

Jan 28 (LNGJ) - The UK’s first February LNG deliveries are heading for the South Hook import terminal at Milford Haven with the UK National Balancing Point wholesale gas price at $29.50 per million British thermal units, 20 percent higher than last week and higher than the Asian spot cargo price.

   The 174,100 cubic metres capacity carrier “Hellas Athina” is scheduled to arrive at South Hook on February 1 with a shipment from the US Corpus Christi plant in Texas, according to the port authorities. A second cargo will be delivered to the Welsh facility on February 3 from Qatar on the 206,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex vessel “Al Karaana”.

Three cargoes for UK

Jan 17 (LNGJ) - Three LNG shipments are heading for the UK port of Milford Haven this week with cargoes from Nigeria, Qatar and the US. The 142,990 cubic metres capacity “LNG Benue” is scheduled to deliver on January 21 to the Dragon import terminal from Bonny Island in Nigeria.

   The 261,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Mekaines” is due to discharge a shipment on January 22 at the South Hook terminal from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar. The third cargo will be delivered by the 174,050 cubic metres capacity “Adamastos” to the South Hook facility on January 23 from the Corpus Christi plant in Texas.

US cargoes for UK

March 3 (LNGJ) - Two US LNG shipments are scheduled to arrive in the UK in the days ahead at the South Hook LNG import terminal in the Welsh port of Milford Haven. The 152,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Seri Balhaf” will discharge a cargo on March 8 from the Corpus Christi export plant in Texas. The 173,400 cubic metres capacity “BW Pavilion Aranda” is then due to arrive at South Hook on March 9 with a cargo from the Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana.
