Oct 1 (LNGJ) - Golar LNG said its project planned in the West African state of Cameroon has signed a final investment decision committing to a start date for commissioning of the second quarter of 2017. At a signing ceremony in the Cameroons capital, Yaounde, the venture participants, state energy company SNH, energy firm Perenco and Golar executed a binding agreement that will see the liquefaction vessel "Hilli" deployed to process LNG from a gas field in Cameroon waters offshore the port of Kribi. "This agreement establishes the terms under which Golar shall provide liquefaction, storage, and off-loading services to SNH and Perenco as upstream joint venture partners," Golar said.
