Sept 14 (LNGJ) - Amec Foster Wheeler was awarded a contract by a unit of Duro Felguera Group for the expansion of the Zeebrugge LNG import terminal in Belgium. Amec FW's contract scope includes detailed engineering of the boil-off gas recovery system and associated facilities as well as the inter-connection with the new LNG storage tank and the existing plant facilities. Amec FW Group President for regions, Roberto Penno, said: "We are a leading engineering provider in Europe and look forward to applying our significant technical expertise on this strategically important project for Belgium." Zeebrugge is operated by Fluxys LNG.
