July 15 (LNGJ) - An international LNG supply tender has been launched for the Central American nation of El Salvador. A company called Energia del Pacifico said it opened a tender process to secure supplies of LNG for its power generating project in the port of Acajutla where an LNG import facility will be located. The tender process is supervised by El Salvador's energy regulator. The country's long-term LNG supply requirements will be for 12 years on a delivered basis and starting in 2019.
