July 16 (LNGJ) - Proposed US LNG projects that have not yet been built are "increasingly unlikely" to be constructed amid slow demand and a surge of supplies from foreign competitors, according to a report released by US think-tank, the Brookings Institution. "We believe it will be increasingly difficult to finance new LNG projects, due to high upfront costs in combination with a substantial number of uncertainties which influence supply and demand," the report said.
