August trade up from July but down 0.64mmt (-2 percent) year-on-year Global LNG exports in August amounted to 33.30mmt, an increase of 0.56mmt (2 percent) from 32.74mmt in July. Among the major exporters, the United States saw the most significant rise, increasing exports by 0.76mmt (11 percent) to 8.53mmt from 7.12mmt in July. Russia also achieved substantial growth, boosting exports by 0.83mmt (41 percent) to 2.84mmt. This was helped by the start of exports from Arctic LNG 2.
