September exports down slightly but demand up in Pacific and Atlantic

The global LNG market experienced mixed trends in September. Intra-basin trade rose by 3 percent to 20.30mmt, primarily driven by a 15 percent increase in Atlantic basin trade. Conversely, inter-basin trade declined sharply by 14 percent to 11.76mmt, with significant reductions in Pacific-Atlantic and Middle East-Pacific flows.
