The assembling of LNGC capacity off Norway’s Snøhvit LNG plant in mid-May signalled the plant’s impending restart. The facility has been shut down since a fire in September 2020. At the end of January, operator Equinor pushed the restart deadline back to mid-May. It announced another small delay as that deadline approached.
