The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) in Nicosia (Cyprus) has started an investigation into the Cypriot Vassiliko  offshore LNG terminal project.

An investigation has been opened, the EPPO said, due to a suspicion of procurement fraud, misappropriation of EU funds and corruption.
