The US Elba Island LNG import terminal, located near Savannah, Georgia, and where BG Group of the UK is the main capacity holder, has closed for about a month to allow more progress on expansion work.

Woodside Petroleum said its new Train 5 at the North West Shelf Venture at Karratha, Western Australia, has experienced heat exchanger problems since it went on line more than two months ago and has yet to reach full production.
