StatoilHydro, the second-largest natural gas supplier to Europe and operator of the sole European baseload LNG plant, has signed a more than $3.35Bln deal with Chesapeake Energy Corp. the largest US natural gas producer, to explore unconventional gas opportunities worldwide.
