Arrow Energy, the Australian coal-seam gas company jointly owned by Royal Dutch Shell and PetroChina and with plans for a CSG-to-LNG project in Queensland,  said it was proceeding with the front-end engineering design phase for its proposed Bowen Gas project.

Golar LNG said it was finalizing agreements to convert a second LNG carrier, the "Gima", into a liquefaction hull at the Keppel Shipyard in Singapore.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission submitted its latest report to the US Congress on the progress made in licensing and constructing an Alaska natural gas pipeline that will feed the state's LNG project from abundant resources in the North Slope gas fields.

Williams, the US pipeline company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has started an open season bidding process for its provision of up to 2 billion cubic feet per day of Marcellus Shale and Utica Shale natural gas to markets for domestic consumption and to underpin LNG exports.
