AMEC, the UK-based international engineering and project management company, said senior executives from the acquired LNG engineer and energy company Foster Wheeler, including its Chief Executive, have agreed to join its board now that the $3.3 billion takeover is near completion.

Alaska LNG, the project being developed by BP, ConocoPhilips, ExxonMobil, TransCanada and the state itself, has filed a preliminary draft resource report with regulators saying the plant will produce an initial 20 million tonnes per annum of LNG.
