Sovcomflot continues LNG carrier fleet build-up with ice-class vessel financed by Russian bank

Sovcomflot, the Russian shipping line building up a fleet of LNG carriers, has signed a $260 million loan agreement with Russia’s VTB Bank to purchase an additional carrier to deliver cargoes for the Yamal liquefaction and export plant being built in the Arctic region.
