Teekay Corp., the tanker and LNG carrier owner and player in the offshore shuttle and FPSO market, said its LNG vessels and offshore business boosted the company's revenues in the third quarter, offsetting a weak tanker market.

"During the past month, we have announced significant transactions in both our offshore and LNG businesses which will further strengthen our market positions in these important growth sectors," said Peter Evensen, President and Chief Executive of Teekay, whose LNG subsidary operates as Teekay LNG Partners.
