Progress Energy Resources Corp. of Canada said it was looking for a site on the West Coast for its LNG joint venture with Malaysia's Petronas to pursue its export project for Canadian shale-gas targeted at the Asia-Pacific region.
Progress said it closed the transaction in the third quarter that created its partnership with Petronas to develop a portion of Progress's Montney assets in the foothills of northeast British Columbia.
