LNG

The newest US LNG import terminal was officially opened in Mississippi and the owners say it has a future because of 20-year "firm service agreements for all of its capacity with a group of LNG producers, including several major oil and gas companies."

LNG imports to the US have plunged in recent years because of the US natural gas surplus and lower prices caused by new shale-gas resources.
